Day 24 - (30th July 2003)

Some comments from Colin's diary:
"I went over some of my daily notes over the past few weeks and I really noticed how much my diet has improved. It has not been as difficult to change as I expected. Whenever someone used to say "diet" I would immediately think of pain and starvation. However this has not been the case. You simply have to eat the right foods at the right time and create the correct metabolic effect on the body. Once you know how to do this then losing weight is not as hard as you might think."

Tip - "Try not to eat too late at night. This makes it difficult for the body to properly digest and can increase the chances of more fat being stored."

Here is what I ate on this day:
Breakfast
a fruit salad consisting of grapes, a banana and an apple
a glass of 50% apple juice and 50% filtered water
mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood
two capsules of slimming formula
Mid-morning
a boiled egg with a little bit of herbal salt
cup of herb tea
Lunch
a few slices of lean ham and a crisp salad of lettuce, cucumber,
tomato, onion, avocado and a little bit of pickled garlic
tall glass of filtered water
two capsules of slimming formula
Mid-afternoon
a small slice of wholemeal bread with a little cottage cheese
a cup of herb tea
Evening meal (see picture above)
a bowl of asparagus soup
a tin of sardines in tomato sauce
a few small tomatoes sliced up and the whole lot put
onto a bed of fresh spinach and lettuce leaves topped
with some cottage cheese
the whole sprinkled with fresh finely chopped herbs
a glass of apple juice
Late snack (if necessary)
none
Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water
Exercise - 28 minutes
