Day 11 - (17th July 2003)

Some comments from Colin's diary:
"I was fairly hungry in the middle of the afternoon. In the past I would have eaten some chocolate biscuits or some other sugary snack food. This would have brought some short term relief but it would also have affected my blood sugar quite a lot. Now I find that if I take a healthier snack or drink I don't get this reaction. Today in the afternoon I had a drink of Lean Protein Plus which totally handled my hunger."

Tip - "If you feel like a snack then have one. However, make it a healthy one such as a protein drink or a piece of fruit or a few vegetables."

Here is what I ate on this day:
Breakfast
2 scrambled egg whites and mixed fresh herbs to taste
a small slice of wholemeal bread with some cottage cheese
a glass of 50% apple juice and 50% filtered water
mixed with a heaped teaspoon of superfood
two capsules of slimming formula
Mid-morning
an apple
cup of herbal tea
Lunch
a tin of low fat sardines in tomato sauce
mixed salad of spinach leaves, lettuce, tomatoes, onion,
and a whole grated carrot and a few sprouted beans
tall glass of filtered water
two capsules of slimming formula
Mid-afternoon
a tall glass of Lean Protein Plus mixed
with filtered water
Evening meal (see picture above)
a chicken breats chopped and cooked until browned
a low fat ready made organic curry sauce mix
a grilled vegetable burger with no breadcrumbs
some spinach leaves and a grated carrot and chopped tomato
a cup of normal tea with a little rice milk
Late snack (if necessary)
none
Other
During the day I also drank a few other glasses of water
Exercise - 25 minutes
