1) ECHINACEA'S POPULARITY CONTINUES TO GROW.
One often sees adverts for the latest miracle cure which gets promoted
for a little while only to be replaced by the next fad. But there
are a number of keys herbs whose popularity and effectiveness continues
to grow. One such herb is Echinacea.
Echinacea is truly one of nature's prize gifts. Originally used
extensively by North American Indians, the herb's secrets and usage's
were passed onto the first American settlers. The herb was used
to treat everything from snake bites to scarlet fever. From those
beginnings the herb is now in demand and grown all over the world
including the UK.
In the past 50 years Echinacea has achieved worldwide fame for its
antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. Echinacea has
also been used in AID's therapy. The action of Echinacea in the
body is to increase the effectiveness with which the immune system
deals with the bacteria and viruses that enter our bodies, preventing
them from triggering the illness.
However, as potent as Echinacea is, it does not act like a pharmaceutical
drug. It does not override the body systems but helps the body to
heal itself. Plus there are no side effects to Echinacea and you
cannot build up an intolerance to Echinacea in the same way that
you can when you use too many antibiotics.
Echinacea is a must have for every home. Its use is not restricted
to only colds and flu's, but when ever you need a boost or are feeling
a little off colour. Prevention is better that cure, so be prepared
with your Echinacea on hand!
Not all Echinacea supplements are created equal. Very many store
bought examples are very weak and watered down. A good strong liquid
Echinacea extract should make the tongue tingle and feel a little
numb for a couple of minutes. This is the effect of the natural
chemicals contained within the Echinacea.
If your brand of echinacea does not do this then we suggest that
you throw it away as it is useless!

be. We supply the herb in the form of capsules and in the form of
a super-strong liquid extract which is very effective.
Research has shown that Echinacea can be used in various ways:
1)Preventative Quantity: - When it is flu season or you just want
to keep the immune system working well - use 10-20 drops three times
a day.
2)"Fighting off" a flu or cold:- Take 20-40 drops or 2 capsules
up to 6 times a day for 7 days.
3)For lung congestion, sore throat or if your body really feels
exhausted from the flu or a cold:- 40 drops or 2 capsules every
hour you are awake, for about 4 days.
4)Handling a Flu or cold that has knocked you back, food poisoning,
a fever etc.:- Get Good Bed rest. Take up to 40 drops or 2 capsules
in the morning and continue with 20 drops or 1 capsule every hour.
Next day continue the 20 drops or 1 capsule every waking hour for
about 6 days.
These are quite intense quantities and you can cut back from this
if you need too or if you feel fully recovered, but it is important
to continue until you feel FULLY recovered.

2) SCIENTIFIC STUDY SAYS "ORGANIC PRODUCTS ARE BETTER".
A question that often gets asked is "Is organic food better?" Non-organic
food producers sometimes say there is no difference. However, common
sense says that there must be. Surely eating food without chemicals
and harvested in a more natural manner is better. But is it?
Finally scientific research has proven that the answer is yes! The

which show the comparisons found between organic and non-organic

Before these studies were carried out the idea that organic crops
were nutritionally superior was widely accepted on faith alone.
People hoped that the effects of organic cultivation were better
for the earth. In recent years this has been proven time and time
again.
Researchers at Rutgers University in the USA, intrigued by the emphatic
claim that "Organic is Better" decided to literally shop around
for some answers. They went to a supermarket and purchased a selection
of produce which they analysed for mineral content. They then purchased
the same products but grown organically and carried out the same
tests.
The Rutgers' team expected the organic produce to be slightly superior
in this comparison, but the results were incredible! For example
notice the amount of iron in the organic tomatoes and spinach compared
to the non-organic varieties. There is a huge difference. Many other
essential trace elements are completely absent in the non-organic
foods whereas they occur in abundance in the organic varieties.
Other studies came to the same clear conclusion.
We believe that eating a predominantly organic diet and taking the
correct nutritional supplements when necessary, is so vitally important
for the sake of your well being and increasing your long term chances

3) WHY TOO MANY DAIRY PRODUCTS MAY BE HARMFUL

The debate about dairy products rages on! Some sources say "Drink
milk it's good for you" and "it's a good source of calcium". But
is that really true? Or are we only led to believe its true by marketing
and vested interests.
Lets examine some facts:
The enzymes necessary to break down and digest milk are renin and
lactase. They are all but gone from the body by the age of three
in most humans. There is an element in all milk known as casein.
There is three hundred times more casein in cow's milk than in humans
milk. That's for the development of huge cow bones!
Casein coagulates in the stomach and forms large, tough, dense,
difficult-to-digest curds that are adapted to the four stomach digestive
apparatus of a cow. Once inside the human system this mass of goo
puts a tremendous burden on the body to somehow get rid of it. Some
of this gooey substance hardens and adheres to the lining of the
intestine and prevents the absorption of nutrients into the body.
The by-products of milk digestion leave a great deal of toxic acidic
mucus in the body. Casein is also the base of one of the strongest
glues in woodmaking!
Dr William A.Ellis, a retired osteopathic physician and surgeon,
has researched milk and its related problems for 42 years. The link
he has shown between dairy products and heart disease, arthritis,
allergies and migraine headaches is impressive. Dr Ellis also states
there is "overwhelming evidence that milk and milk products are
a major factor in obesity".
The serious difficulty with dairy consumption is the formation of
mucus in the system. It coats the mucus membranes and forces everything
to transpire in a very sluggish fashion. Weight loss is made more
difficult when the system is overladen with mucus.
Our use of dairy products in every day foods, whether it be milk
in tea, or bread and cheese, pizza or butter, is not helping our
bodies to remain healthy. Rather hindering vital absorption of nutrients

5) THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD CIRCULATION.
Blood is the body's main internal transport system and proper circulation
is vital for good health. If you think of how the body works, the
basic action of the blood moving from cell to cell is of great importance
to your health and longevity. Exercise has to be at the top of the
list for increasing circulation, but there are things which you
can do to greatly increase your circulation.
Hot and cold showers or Hydrotherapy is a good way of improving
your circulation. It is something you can do every day. When you
get hot under a shower the blood rushes to the skin and feeds it.
Then when you immediately put on the cold, the blood rushes to the
internal organs. You shiver, but what is happening is that your
blood is flushing out your skin and leaving it oxygenated. Then,
again, a hot shower and the blood rushes from your internal organs,
so flushing them, to your skin. Your circulation is increased just
by the action of your blood being forced rapidly around your body.
This hot and then cold water can be repeated up to 5 or 6 times
for optimum results.
WARNING - Do not start straight away on very hot or very cold water.
Gradually increase the temperature difference between the hot and
cold water over a period of a few weeks so that it is not too much
of a shock to the system. This single action can dramatically improve
your circulation and health over time.
Two of the best herbs to increase circulation are Cayenne and Ginkgo
Biloba.
When Cayenne is used as a circulatory stimulant, it feeds the necessary
elements into the cell structure of the arteries, veins, and capillaries,
so helping to normalize the blood flow . By helping to equalize
